Services
At Home Animal Care is designed primarily to serve your pet’s preventative medicine needs. This includes exams and vaccines, as well as diagnostics and treatment of non-emergency conditions such as ear infections and skin problems. In addition, home euthanasias are offered.
At this time, the following services are available for dogs and cats:
- Complete physical exams
- Vaccines (rabies, canine and feline distemper, feline leukemia, canine kennel cough and lyme)
- Fecal exams and deworming
- Heartworm Tests (Includes a test for lyme and ehrlichia)
- Feline leukemia and FIV combination tests
- Heartworm medication (Interceptor)
- Flea and tick medication (Frontline)
- Microchips
- Nail trims, ear cleaning and anal gland expression
- Diagnostic exams and treatment for ear and skin problems
- Health certificates (Maryland only)
- Euthanasia
It is important that all pet owners note where a local emergency clinic or other hospital is located, because At Home Animal Care is not an emergency service, and does not provide surgical or radiological services.
